Water Works Board of Trustees

West Des Moines Water Works is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees. Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council to serve alternating six-year terms. They represent the citizens of West Des Moines to ensure the utility operates safely and efficiently.

Meetings & Governance

The Board meets at 4:00 pm on the third Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at the A. C. Ward Municipal Water Treatment Plant, located at 1505 Railroad Avenue. All meetings are open to the public.
