RAD: Women's Only Self Defense

Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) is a nationwide program dedicated to empowering women through hands-on training. This comprehensive course focuses on awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and the basics of hands-on defense tactics.

Our courses are taught by West Des Moines law enforcement officers who are certified RAD instructors. The techniques are simple, effective, and designed for women of all abilities, ages 13 and older.

Program Details & Cost

  • Structure: 12 total hours of instruction (broken into four 3-hour evening sessions).
  • Cost: $25.00 per person.
  • Lifetime Return: Your registration fee includes free attendance at future RAD programs for refresher training.
