The original court tennis complex at Crossroads Park was constructed in the 1980s. The courts went through a major renovation project including removal of existing courts, fencing, sidewalks, lighting, and complete reconstruction of the courts. Due to the popularity, a reservation policy for the courts has been implemented. All six tennis courts can be reserved.

Court Reservation Policy

• All courts are on a first come, first serve basis unless courts are reserved or scheduled activities are taking place.
• Reservations can be made online or over the phone at 515-222-3444. Calls must be made during normal business hours, Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Reservations can be made from March 1 through October 31.
• Online reservations are limited to two hours per day per court. We will allow for multiple court use by school districts and tournament organizers if necessary.
• Reservations must be made by 4:00 p.m. on the day before use for a reservation to be posted on the schedule, Monday through Friday. Reservations for Saturday and Sunday must be made by 4:00 p.m. on Friday to guarantee your reservation will be posted. If you do not reserve prior to 4:00 p.m. on Friday for a weekend slot, be sure to have your receipt on hand (printed or electronic) to notify players who may be on the reserved court.
• Cancellations: There are no refunds for cancellations, and a $10 change fee applies for changes to reservations. Renter must promptly leave the court(s) at the end of rental time. The court must be left in suitable condition for the next renter.
• Inclement Weather: Reservations impacted by inclement/severe weather may contact the Administrative Office within three (3) business days after the reservation date to request a West Des Moines Parks and Recreation credit.
