Holiday Park Aquatic Center

2020 Swim Lessons

We are happy to announce that July swim lessons will happen at Holiday Park Aquatic Center! Modified swim lesson levels that will be offered are Pre-School 1 and 2 as well as Levels 1, 2, and 3. Unfortunately, due to social distancing restrictions, we are unable to offer swim lessons for Levels 4 and 5.

Please read through the following list of details before choosing to register your child for modified swim lessons.

  • Modified swim lessons will be held at Holiday Aquatic Center, 1701 Railroad Ave.

  • To ensure social distancing, a parent/guardian must participate in each class.

    • A parent/guardian must always be in the water with their child.

    • A guardian must be someone 16 years or older who is able to assist their child throughout the class.

  • The instructor will remain at least 6 feet away from any participant. Each class will begin with the instructor, who will be in the water, demonstrating the skills that will be worked on that day. The instructor will then give feedback and instructions to the parent/guardian and child from the pool deck for the remainder of the class.

  • Class size will be limited to 4 registrants. (Up to 8 can register in Level Pre-School 1. The class will then be divided into 2 equal groups.)

    • There will be a total of 8 people, including parents/guardians, in each class.

    • The $50 registration fee includes both the child and the parent/guardian; however, only the child will need to be registered.

  • Classes will be 30 minutes long.

  • Each session will encompass 8 classes over two weeks.

  • A 30-minute break will take place between each class to allow class participants to completely exit the facility before a new group begins to enter. This will also provide time for aquatic center staff to clean and sanitize common touch points in the pool area.

  • Only the registered child and the participating parent/guardian will be allowed inside the aquatic center.

  • You can register online below or over the phone at 222-3444.
