Datacenter Academy

West Des Moines Human Services, Microsoft, and Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) have partnered to offer a unique workforce training program. This tuition-free opportunity prepares participants to staff and maintain computer networks within datacenters—a rapidly growing industry in central Iowa.

Through this partnership, Human Services helps identify qualified candidates and provides holistic support for students.

Eligibility

To apply, you must have previously used West Des Moines Human Services programs, such as:

  • Food Pantry or Clothing Closet
  • Emergency Financial Assistance
  • Utility Assistance
  • Other specialized departmental programming
