The Transportation Program at West Des Moines Human Services is ending in April, 2020.
The replacement options are as follows - please be aware that there are eligibility requirements for each of these options:

The intent is to help residents in need find a way to get to necessary appointments if they do not have someone who can transport them, or the financial resources to pay for transportation. To get started on finding alternative transportation, please call Polk County at 515-286-3484 for an initial assessment. For current riders, the last day to get in touch with Polk County is March 27, 2020.  If you have any questions, or need help navigating these options, please call 515-222-3661

OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH TRANSIT (OTT)
DART has partnered with Polk County to help income eligible residents find and keep jobs through a program called Opportunities Through Transit. Those who are eligible can ride DART buses at a reduced rate while traveling to a job, looking for work, or attending educational/training programs.
