Winter Outerwear Available in our Clothing Closet starting October 1st. 

Winter Outerwear Update: 
This year we will not hold a one-day distribution event. Instead, winter outerwear will be in the clothing closet from October 1st and will stay available year-round. The inventory will depend on incoming donations. 

• Must be registered for the Clothing Closet 
• Limit: 1 coat per household member per year
• Availability of sizes and quantities is not guaranteed

Register to use our Clothing Closet: 

• Must be an income eligible resident of West Des Moines, Clive, Windsor Heights or Urbandale.
• Proof of address (current piece of mail) 
• Proof of gross income for the past 30 days or most recent tax return
• Photo ID for head of household
• Identification for all household members 

Clothing Closet Hours: 
Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 12 PM) 
Tuesdays - 4:30-6:30 PM 

Donations of new or gently-used winter outerwear items can be donated to our clothing closet.
