The Clothing Closet serves income-eligible residents of West Des Moines, Clive, Urbandale, and Windsor Heights. We offer clothing and shoes for all ages, housewares, linens, books, toys, and more. All items are free.

Inclement Weather Policy
If West Des Moines Schools close or have a two-hour delay due to inclement weather, the Clothing Closet will also be closed.

Registration for Services
To access services, please provide:
Proof of address (like a current piece of mail or a lease)
Proof of gross income for the last 30 days or your most recent tax return
ID for all household members (such as a photo ID, health insurance card, school ID, or other valid ID)
Donation Drop-Off Hours

Please put donations in lightweight garbage bags. You can drop off items at the southeast corner of the building (follow the signs). Ring the doorbell when you arrive.
