The Birthday Heroes Program aims to make every child's birthday special! Click here to register your children for the program (see eligibility requirements below). 

Who Can Participate: 

• Must live in West Des Moines
• Must meet income eligibility (income eligibility guidelines)
• If eligible, each child in your household, up to age 18, will receive a gift during their birthday month - you will be notified via email when the gift is ready for pick-up at our office.
• A Birthday Bag Kit may also be provided if available. This kit includes items like cake mix, frosting, candles, balloons, plates, and napkins

Program Availability 

This program helps a limited number of children and works on a first-come, first-served basis.

If a household is notified but does not pick up their child's gift within 30 days, the gift will be restocked. The household will then be removed from the program.

This program relies on community contributions! If you want to donate new birthday gifts, please contact us! 

Monetary donations are also welcome—please specify "Birthday Heroes" for your gift. We also need "Birthday Kit Bags." Here are the instructions for on assembling Birthday Kit Bags.
