West Des Moines Police Welcomes Three Officers

On Friday, May 1, 2026, Mayor Russ Trimble swore in Officers Carlson, McKinney, and Stewart Jr. These three members graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy's 326th basic training class on Friday, April 24.

We look forward to them serving our community and keeping our residents and visitors safe. 

If you see them in the community, please give them a warm welcome to West Des Moines!
