On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, residents of West Des Moines will be asked to go to the polls to vote in our City/School elections. The polls are open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Residents will vote on the following City positions:
Mayor (1 to be elected for a 4-year term)
- M.J. Hoag
- Russ Trimble (incumbent)
At-Large Councilmember (1 to be elected for a 4-year term)
- Renee Hardman (incumbent)
First Ward Councilmember (1 to be elected for a 4-year term)
- Jennie Doke-Kerns
- Kevin L. Trevillyan (incumbent)
Third Ward Councilmember (1 to be elected for a 4-year term)
