Bank Robbery Response Training

As part of our continued effort to support local businesses through our Business Crime Prevention Programs, the West Des Moines Police Department is pleased to offer specialized training for financial institutions.

This program provides bank employees with vital information on safety protocols before, during, and after a robbery. We also provide insights into the law enforcement response and the investigative process to help your team stay prepared.

Training Options & Details

  • Virtual Sessions: Offered several times throughout the year. These sessions are scheduled for one hour (typically concluding in 40 minutes).
  • In-Person Training: Can be scheduled for business locations within the city limits of West Des Moines.
  • Content: Focuses on employee safety, law enforcement coordination, and investigative needs.
