American Legion Park is a historic cornerstone of the Valley Junction neighborhood. Spanning nearly 10 acres, this park blends shaded nostalgia with modern play, featuring a popular sprayground and mature trees that tower over classic horseshoe and shuffleboard courts.

Park Amenities & Features

Whether you are looking for a spot to host a summer BBQ or a place for the kids to cool off, American Legion Park offers a variety of outdoor activities:

  • Water Fun: The Sprayground is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day (10 am to 7 pm). To conserve water, please use the activation button to start the 10-minute spray cycles.
  • Play Areas: Separate playgrounds designed for toddlers (ages 2–5) and older children (ages 5–12).
  • Sports & Courts: Includes a basketball court, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, a softball field, and a lit tennis court striped for Pickleball.
  • Skatepark: A dedicated skatepark for all skill levels.
