Maple Grove Park sits directly adjacent to Maple Grove Elementary School on the city's northwest side. The park is a collaboration between the City of West Des Moines and the Waukee Community School District. Due to its proximity to a school, alcohol of any kind is not permitted in the park.

Facilities include:

• Picnic shelter with grill (first come, first serve)
• Restrooms (open April 15 - October 15, weather permitting)
• Play equipment (2-5 and 5-12 year-old sections; shared with Maple Grove Elementary School)
• Large open playfield
• Basketball court (non-lighted)
• .52 mile loop trail
• Tennis court (non-lighted; striped for pickleball)
• Backstop
• Parking lot
• No alcohol allowed
