Jordan Creek Greenway is a 275.5 acre green space that runs east and west throughout the city. The greenway also provides local residents the opportunity to enjoy one of Central Iowa's most popular leisure activities. The 7 mile paved multipurpose trail is a favorite place for local bikers, skaters and walkers.
There are four trail heads located along the path for easy access. The locations of the trail heads are as follows: Westridge School Trailhead (5500 E.P. True Parkway), Southwoods Park Trailhead (400 39thStreet), Jordan Creek Park Trailhead (50th Street and Railroad Tracks) and Fairmeadows Park Trailhead (22nd and Locust).
The Info Hub and Bike Repair Station located just west of 50th Street provides bicyclists and other Jordan Creek Greenway users a convenient location to perform basic bike maintenance as well as learning information about and viewing maps of the Central Iowa Trails network.
