Parks & Trails

Park hours are from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm daily.

All visitors are expected to adhere to the regulations established in the West Des Moines City Code while enjoying our facilities and trails.

Beh Glen Park sits on what was once the 165-acre Beh Dairy Farm. This 11-acre sanctuary was donated by the Beh family, who owned the land for 50 years, ensuring that as West Des Moines grew, a piece of its agricultural heart remained open for everyone to enjoy.

Park Amenities & Features

  • Trail Connections: Access the Beh Glen Greenway, which links directly to the Jordan Creek Trail and the Fairmeadows Greenway Trail.
  • Historic Landmarks: While walking the area, look for the original Beh dairy barn and silo, which have been preserved as a tribute to the land's history.
