Beh Glen Park is located on a portion of what once was the 165-acre Beh Dairy Farm. Born in Harlan, IA, Carleton Beh was a successful businessman who specialized in municipal bond dealings. The Beh Dairy Farm was owned by the Beh family for 50 years. As the city expanded westward, the property was rezoned in 1978 to permit the development of homes and townhouses. Beh donated approximately 11.3 acres for parks. 

When the area was rezoned and developed for residences, the Beh dairy barn and silo were preserved and are now part of the Hamlet Apartments.
