Florer Park is located along the northern edge of Holiday Park in one of West Des Moines' more established neighborhoods. Nestled in the trees, the 1.45 acre park offers limited but unique facilities. The park provides a peaceful place to picnic and is also home to the nicest horseshoe courts in West Des Moines. Every summer several horseshoe tournaments are held at the park including the 4th of July Classic and the Iowa Senior Games.
