Parks & Trails

Park hours are from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm daily.

All visitors are expected to adhere to the regulations established in the West Des Moines City Code while enjoying our facilities and trails.

Hidden Point Park is one of West Des Moines' newest outdoor escapes. Completed in 2020, this 8-acre park offers a modern retreat for families and nature lovers, conveniently located east of the Jordan Creek Parkway and Stagecoach intersection.

Park Amenities & Features

Whether you’re here for a morning playdate or to explore the wetland, Hidden Point Park features high-quality facilities for all ages:

  • Playgrounds: Features two dedicated play areas designed for toddlers (ages 2–5) and older children (ages 5–12).
  • Open Playfield: A large, grassy field perfect for running, kicking a ball around, or neighborhood games.
  • Established Wetland: Explore the onsite wetland area, a beautiful spot for observing local birds and aquatic plants.
  • Parking: A paved parking lot provides easy and convenient access to the playground and trails.
