The Development Services Department helps with city planning and building safety. We are divided into two teams: Planning and Building.

Planning & Zoning

• City Growth: Long-term plans and development proposals.
• Site Review: Checking new building layouts and property lines.
• Signs & Addresses: Permits for business signs or new house numbers.

Building & Safety

Contact the Building team to ensure construction projects are safe and legal:

• Permits: Getting approval for construction and floor plans.
• Inspections: Scheduling safety checks during construction.
• Housing: Rental property inspections and home-business rules.
