An Emergency Snow Parking Ban goes into effect for West Des Moines at 6 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, and will be in effect until 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 14.
The Emergency Parking Ban applies to all streets in West Des Moines. During an Emergency Parking Ban, vehicles are subject to a $50 fine and/or towing.
City Hall and most City offices will be closed on Dec. 24 & 25, and Jan. 1. Garbage and recycling will be delayed one day after the Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 holidays.
