The 3/4 time personnel typically work 36 hours per week, but can work up to 40 hours. They have the ability to work overtime when it is available. This position provides the opportunity to work varying shifts and hours. They are lead paramedics but are not committed to the 24/48 hour schedule. They have some of the same benefits as the full-time lead paramedics, like the ability to earn comp time and are eligible to get insurance through the city at a discounted rate.
